Applying for a rental property in Queensland
New rental application form
New laws introduced in Queensland from 1st May 2025 require rental applications to be submitted by an approved form. The approved Form 22 Rental Application is made available via the button below. This link will start a PDF download of the new application form.
A printed version of this document can be made available on request. Please email docs@briqproperty.com.au if you wish to collect a printed copy at an upcoming property inspection or from our office.
How to submit your application
From the 1st May 2025, rental agents must provide Applicants with at least 2 ways to submit a Form 22 Rental Application (s. 57B (5) of Residential Tenancies and Rooming Accommodations Act). We accept the approved rental applications through the following ways:
via email to: docs@briqproperty.com.au; or
via post to Suite 9, 120 Russell Street, Toowoomba City QLD 4350; or
via an approved website online application service.
Please note our office is always staffed and therefore walk-in applications will not be accepted.
